As a person owning 3 Kubota's tractors I would like to make some suggestions for improving the BX line of tractors. I may be looking to purchase another one in a few years so hopefully the Kubota dealers can pass my suggestions on the the company.

1. Head Lights - Need to make improvements. Lights are useless when you have a FEL. Since I do not know many people that mow their lawns at night, I would suggest that the lights be builted into the roll bar above the drivers head. I know there are light kits that people have installed, but why not install them at the factory.
2. Brake Light on dash - I cannot tell you the number of times I have jumped on my tractor and forgot to release the brake. A simple red light on the dash that would light up when the brake was engaged would be be a tremendous improvement.
3. Grill Cover taller - The BX has a nice heavy duty steel grill cover but does not come up high enough to cover the front lights and front of the hood. If you use the FEL alot, sooner or later a rock or piece of wood will fall off the back and either smash your head lights or put a nice dent in the hood. An extra 10" of grill would be worth considering.

Other that my three suggestions I have no complaints with the BX tractor. Just thought I would throw my suggestions out and see if one of the Kubota dealers on this site could pass it on to a Kubota Sales Rep.

I tried out a Kubota for a while prior to buying my Deere. I was extremely disappointed in the lighting...not the placement as much as the power. They really need to go with a halogen sealed beam system. Even after owning a Deere, I would still say the a Kubota is a better dollar value if you are looking for a well-built, reliable tractor...I just liked the "extras" that the JD had. ....

COULD WE ALSO ADD SOME KIND OF GUARD COVERING THE FUEL FILTER AND LINES...VERY EXPOSED TO DEBRIS WITHOUT THE MOWER DECK ON IT. A TWO FOOT PIECE OF ROTTEN TREE KICKED UP INTO THE FILTER, LINES AND INTO THE COOLING FAN BLADES ON THE DRIVE SHAFT. SURE RUINED MY SEAT TIME REAL QUICK! ....
